15 Years of ASW Global: CEO Joe Fussell on the Company’s Milestones
2026 marks the 15th anniversary of ASW Global. As we commemorate this landmark achievement, our CEO Joe Fussell shares his perspective on our journey of growth and the partnerships, people, and values that have shaped our success.
Reaching 15 years is a meaningful milestone for ASW Global, and it’s something I’ve taken time to reflect on.
When we first started in 2011, with our Sydney headquarters and our first office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with just 10 staff, there was no grand blueprint. What began as a practical solution quickly became something much bigger: a way to build genuinely connected, high-performing teams across borders.

In the years that followed, we continued to grow alongside our clients who needed specialised talent solutions to support innovation and long-term success. We opened our Philippines office in Taguig City in 2012 and expanded into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014. We reached an important milestone in 2019 with 1,000 staff across our locations. In 2023, we established our presence in Bangkok, Thailand.

As we mark our 15th year, we’ve grown to more than 2,000 professionals across five offices, supporting over 150 client partners in Australia, New Zealand, UK, and the US.
