2022 Year-End Message from ASW Management Team
What an incredible year this has been for AS White Global!
As 2022 draws to a close, let’s look back at this year’s highlights and take pride in our achievements that have made ASW stronger than ever.
Thanks to the easing of travel restrictions, we have resumed our client visits to the offices in Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Managers from our client partners were able to touch base again with their dedicated offshore teams, provide training sessions, and spend time bonding over lunch and fun activities.
Joe Fussell, our CEO, and other members of the Management Team also visited the ASW offshore offices once again and met with the current and new staff. As Joe mentioned, “It was also fantastic to share a meal with our internal team who have worked so hard to not only keep our family together during the pandemic but grow it substantially.”
New Client Partnerships, New Team, New Hires
Potential clients also had the opportunity to visit our offices and discover for themselves what ASW can offer to support their business. Daniel Breese, our GM for Growth, and the account management team were instrumental in solidifying these new client partnerships.
With an increasing clientele, we also formed the new onboarding team to focus on the smooth transition of operations between the client partners and their respective offshore teams.
Naturally, with our growing number of client partners, we’ve hired more high-calibre talent to join our offshore teams and internal staff. Our recently revamped Employee Referral Program has been integral to our winning streak in talent acquisition, bringing us 30% of our total global hires. We thank our staff for recommending their friends and former colleagues to join ASW and we wish them well in their career development with us.
We’ve had a lot of events lined up to strengthen the bond of our ASW Family. We’ve resumed our Company Outings and had an amazing time with the teams in Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines at exclusive beach resorts. Our HR team has also organised several virtual events to promote a healthier lifestyle for our staff: the Virtual Run, The Biggest Loser: Teams Challenge, and the Health & Wellness Fair.
ASW was a platinum sponsor for The CEO Magazine’s Executive of the Year Awards 2022 last November at the Doltone House in Sydney. It was a privilege to be a major supporter of this prestigious event that recognises Australia’s inspirational and innovative business leaders. Members of the Management Team were also in attendance for the awards night to celebrate the best of Australian business leadership.
We also launched the “50 Random Acts of Kindness”. We encouraged our staff to nominate individuals and/or organisations who need a helping hand during these challenging times. We will be announcing the beneficiaries of our program as soon as we’ve made our selection.
In late October, we were pleased to hold the official launch of our Talent Acquisition & Consulting brand, The Talent Consultants, in Saigon. Sarah Lourie, Director of Talent, was able to travel and be there in person for the celebration. We now have 10 team members and are looking forward to continued growth for the remainder of this FY.
Last but not least, we have our Year-End Parties to look forward to! It’ll be a night of fun, celebration, and recognition for all the hard work that every member of ASW has put in to ensure our success.
