Accounts Payable Officer in HCM

Job Description:

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconcile monthly statements and accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Support Financial and Management Accounting staff as required
  • Other duties as directed by Accounts Payable Team Leader

 

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounts payable or general accounting procedures
  • bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting
  • Organizing and prioritizing
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidentiality
  • Judgment
  • Communication skills (both phone and email)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Team work
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • 1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
