ASW Global Communication Tools Through the Ages
Since the establishment of our team based across Southeast Asia, management at ASW have adopted many popular, prestigious and proven project management and communication tools to enhance collaboration and operational efficiencies across our numerous offices. Back in 2011, Redmine was the optimal open source as our company was relatively small at that time. The software was easy to understand and customise, a simple task for our qualified IT experts.
Roughly one year later, after the business had gathered momentum and grown, ASW teams switched to JIRA and Confluence software for a more Agile-oriented approach. This has proved to be the right decision given the current requirement for our teams to deal with multiple, exponentially increasing projects. These projects also require excellent collaboration across four countries, whilst ensuring professional service delivery to our valued clients. Recently, we have also adopted the use of Basecamp – a world-class project management tool for our Creative and Marketing teams that has enabled them to easily share files, streamline work procedures and significantly strengthen the team collaboration. Finally, day-to-day communication between team members is also assisted via the deployment of Skype for Business, phones, X-Lite (a popular VOIP solution) and video conferences.
By and large, I believe ASW teams have greatly excelled at sustaining team collaboration by taking advantage of cutting-edge applications and tools. We are now paving the way to our fifth successful year and our current collaborative foundation is vital in ascending ASW to a new level – where we operate as a prestigious international entity and build talented global teams across all industries for our valued partners.
