Bookkeeper in HCM

Job Description:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Accounts payable and receivable for various entities
  • Adviser Code set up and ongoing management
  • Weekly commission reconciliations – financial planning (Process weekly commission runs and update measurement on what has come in / notify management of outstanding – follow through until paid
  • Monthly commission reconciliations – loans
  • Follow up clawbacks and report accordingly
  • Prepare reports and presentations for monthly adviser sales meetings, board meetings and management meetings
  • Quarterly income reports – KPI bonus eligibility reporting
  • Prepare monthly profit & loss, balance sheet statements
  • Prepare quarterly BAS


Job Requirements:

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and work well within a team
  • Are capable of analyzing and understanding data and compiling detailed reports
  • Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, in addition to Xero and a high level Excel experience
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Understanding of the Australian taxation system is preferable
