AUSTRALIA-ASEAN BUSINESS FORUM
Joe Fussell, CEO of ASW Global and President of the Australia–Thailand Business Council (ATBC), was among the distinguished speakers at the Australia-ASEAN Business Forum in Adelaide on 26–27 August. He joined fellow business leaders to share insights on “Doing Business in ASEAN – A Practical Guide to Market Entry and Expansion,” discussing ASW’s success in integrating Southeast Asian talent to fuel business growth by providing essential business operations support.
Daniel Breese, ASW’s Head of Growth, was also present at the forum to meet with delegates and industry representatives to promote ASW Global’s expertise in International Talent Partnering.
WELCOME LUNCH FOR THAI CONSUL-GENERAL
ASW Global and ATBC had the honour of hosting a welcome lunch for Naruchai Ninnad, Thailand’s Consul-General to Sydney. The meeting included a briefing on ATBC’s activities and discussions on collaboration opportunities. The event brought together Australian business leaders with the Consul-General’s team to exchange insights and discuss ways to strengthen trade and investment ties between Australia and Thailand.
NETWORKING IN ADELAIDE
Daniel Breese showcased ASW Global’s services at the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) Adelaide Market Exchange. ASW has been an active participant in UAC’s networking events—an important factor in securing our position as a preferred provider of international staffing solutions for Australia’s insurance and underwriting industry.

Several of our ASW teams were invited by client partners—including EML, iPartners, MedHealth, and Vantage Strata—to their Australian offices for trainings and workshops. They also enjoyed visiting popular tourist attractions in Sydney and Melbourne, making it a truly enriching business trip.
CLIENT VISITS TO ASW OFFICES
We welcomed executives from our client partners EML, One Investment Group, TradieSpec, and Property Insurance Plus (SGUA) who met with their international teams in ASW’s offices for strategic discussions, project updates, and collaborative planning to strengthen partnerships and drive aligned goals forward.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Keeping our ASW family healthy and happy is one of our top priorities. Runners from ASW Philippines and Vietnam joined the popular Lazada Run, achieving their personal goals in winning form. We also treated our staff from all ASW countries to a Superman Movie Night, where attendees enjoyed the Man of Steel’s latest adventures. ASW Malaysia held an Amazing Race-styled competition as their team-building activity, creating a fun experience that encouraged problem-solving and camaraderie.
