Systems Engineer in MY

  • Design, document, install, and configure internal and customer facing systems and applications in a secure and supportable manner.
  • Proactively manage and maintain multi-site datacenter deployment.
  • Administer and support core AV, Microsoft O365 Suite & Hyper-V technologies, AD, ADFS, Web & Mail Proxy, Monitoring, Backup, patching tool other technologies as the opportunity arises.
  • Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions that will support a hands-off environment.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures to provide to Tier 1 & Tier 2 staff.
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and Negotiations.
  • Submit Knowledge Base articles, update technical and support documentation.
  • Mentor/cross train team members on existing and new technologies.
  • Carry out projects at Management’s direction.
  • Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
  • Participation in Change Management process – submit, review, and implement changes to a production environment.
  • Assist the TDM to facilitate the delivery of an approved training plan for Systems Engineer.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 10+ years of hands-on experience administering an Infra at Enterprise level environment.
  • Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification (Security+, MCSA/MCSE or any MS related Certifications).
  • ITIL certification V3 / V4.
  • Expertise in Microsoft environments (AD, O365, GPO).
  • Good knowledge of virtualization applications (VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • Good knowledge of scripting.
  • Strong interest in computer security.
  • Methodical & disciplined approach to problem solving and analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all organizational levels.
  • Ability and interest in learning new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Shows dynamism in handling internal customer needs.
  • Shows leadership and possesses demonstrated aptitudes in coaching, is thorough and meticulous in his work.
  • Ability to organize his work time and establish his priorities effectively.
