Procurement Coordinator in MY

  • Lead the IT sourcing for all categories in Asia Pacific.
  • Be part of a regional technology sourcing team and provide support for other countries or regional requirement when requested. To work closely with the
  • Technology and Project Managers and ensuring that requirements adhere to company strategy and implemented locally.
  • Drive global sourcing strategies for the specifically assigned portfolio via demand side management (working with key stakeholders) and supply side management (working with sourcing teams and/or external vendors directly).
  • Define, implement and support commodity strategies and sourcing plans for your assigned category requirement globally, whilst ensuring appropriate alignment to regional commodity and category strategies.
  • Lead the sourcing process for assigned categories, including RFQ processes and deliver overall commercial and contractual benefits.
  • Be responsible for processing purchasing approvals, purchase orders, and category reporting requirements.
  • Foster effective collaboration and ensure strong communication lines with key stakeholders and colleagues in and across the regions.
  • Ensure representation of regional/local interests and market conditions to global sourcing commodities
  • Strategically manage the commercial relationship with key vendors for business-critical projects & outsources services.
  • Any other task assigned by Management as and when needed.


  • Competencies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar is highly desirable.
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT Purchasing/Procurement
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications desirable.
  • Experience in Application Projects or Infrastructure/Technical Support
  • Previous experience with Procurement is highly desirable.
  • Experience in SAP Concur, Heat, or other CRM/accounting applications.
  • Fluency with English in both written and verbal communication is vital.
  • Good analytical thinking with problem solving skills and business acumen.
  • Experience with software licensing is highly desirable.
  • Willing to work in Australian business hours
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven attention to detail.
