About our Client

The Compliance Support Rep will work for one of our clients that are a US headquartered, boutique consulting firm offering advisory, audit and compliance services across intellectual property, contracts, licensing, and royalties.  With 85 employees globally, this company is experiencing ongoing global growth and is looking to expand their team in South East Asia.

The role will be based with ASW in either our HCMC, Vietnam, Manila, Philippines or KL, Malaysia office, and will work closely with the client’s 3 team members in Japan, and others around the world.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with business level Japanese fluency, who has experience in any of the following: customer service, software account support, software license or sales operations.

  • Processing remote compliance related campaigns on Japanese companies launched by the client’s customers (i.e. software license compliance, ELA renewals etc).
  • Responsible for following up customers to explain the project, help with data collection requirements, resolve any challenges and documenting their progress in a system.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, any field.
  • Must have Japanese business level proficiency, and strong English skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to speak confidently to companies and their representatives.
  • 2+ years of sales, compliance or legal experience a plus

  • Prior experience in a customer contact role within the Software/SaaS/Technology industry is a plus.
  • Able to anticipate, identify, analyze problem areas and present recommendations.
