Collections Officer – J-1809

Our client becomes the partner of choice for American sports apparel brands for Australia & New Zealand. Has developed a strong association with globally iconic leagues including NBA, MLB, and NFL. Growing their team of Collections Officers in Manila. You will be reporting to the onshore Finance Manager and working with a competitive team in AU. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of payments and refund
  • Report on collection and accounts receivable activity
  • Daily monitoring of accounts
  • Ability to investigate historical data for debts
  • Follow up clients to reconcile overdue or unpaid payments
  • Ability to resolve client billing and credit issues
  • Ability to make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations
  • Displays a positive attitude towards all staff
  • Contributes positively to team meetings and discussions
  • Ability to communicate with the team effectively

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (desired)
  • Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role (required)
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
  • Intermediate IT literacy
  • American and Domestic Sports knowledge (desired)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly and approachable attitude
