Our company is an offshore service that has contemporary offices in Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Helping our Global Clients grow their Businesses. Currently looking for a Senior Accountant for the Internal Team in PH. Directly reporting to the Group Finance Manager in Manila.
Job Responsibilities:
- Issuance of monthly People Fees billing to external clients using Xero
- Issuance of monthly Adhoc charges/billing to external clients using Xero
- Management and monitoring of PMD (People Management Database)
- Data entry and recording of daily journal entries in the company’s accounting system, EXONET, including posting of monthly accruals, payroll, depreciation, and other recurring entries in accordance with GAAP
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Books of Accounts
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset register including computation of monthly lapsing report
- Involvement in monthly and year-end closing activities
- Preparation and submission to Group Finance of monthly/quarterly/annual Financial Reporting Package for AUS office
- Update and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, subsidiary ledgers, and other supporting schedules required
- Monthly Variance Analysis of increase/decrease of costs versus budget
- Invoicing of Monthly Costs plus Mark-up against Head Office
- Review and processing of weekly/monthly Request for Payments and recurring billing from vendors.
- Handle employee advances, liquidations, and reimbursements
- Monitoring and checking of employee debit cards
- Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly/ schedules for IAS and BAS tax returns
- Preparation of annual schedule for FBT
- Liaison with tax consultants
- Process bi-weekly payroll for AUS employees
- Ensure that Payroll register and bank credit advice/upload is complete and accurate
- Provide year-end and interim audit support requirements
- Liaise and build a relationship with bank officers, consultants, auditors, and other agencies as it relates to company activities and transactions
- Assist Group Finance Manager in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor ‘s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. CPA is highly desirable
- At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in a BPO/Shared Service industry
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS and AASB)
- Proficient in MS Excel and computerized accounting systems (Xero, Exonet, MYOB)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
