SMSF Accountant

  • Preparation of financial accounts and tax returns for SMSFs through to audit review and finalization
  • Support with compliance documents preparation
  • Liaison with Client Managers on technical matters
  • Drafting queries to clients
  • Manage the priorities of a large client list, across an interesting range of industries


  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • A minimum 1-2 years of experience in relation to self-managed super funds
  • Experience with Class Super
  • Competent superannuation technical knowledge
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar
  • A high attention to detail
  • Excellent SMSF accounting competencies and up-to-date knowledge
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and a range of accounting systems, ideally MYOB and AE Tax
