Q1 2025 Message from the ASW Global Management Team
The first quarter of 2025 has been a successful start to the year, with new client partners, productive networking events, and proactive initiatives aimed at enhancing our company culture and employee engagement. These activities reflect our steadfast commitment to maintain ASW Global’s status as a certified Great Place To Work®.
GROWING OUR PARTNERSHIPS
Joe Fussell, ASW Global CEO and newly appointed President of Australia Thailand Business Council (ATBC), was among the distinguished speakers in the business networking event “Thailand: A Global Business Hub”, hosted by the Thailand Board of Investment in partnership with ATBC and Moore Australia last 27th March. Joe shared valuable insights on how the Australian business community can thrive through expansion opportunities in Thailand and discussed ASW Global’s success in the region.
Last 19th March, more than 300 attendees joined the webinar “International Staffing for Brokers & Underwriters: Grow Without Compromise”, organised by ASW with the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC). Hosted by Daniel Breese, ASW Head of Growth, the topics ranged from avoiding the pitfalls of building an international team, the must-have checklist to ensure international staffing success, and how our international talent partnering model works, among others.
Dan has also recently launched “Shooting the Breese”, his weekly newsletter where he discusses the distinctions between outsourcing, offshoring, freelancing, and international talent partnering, the benefits of international staffing, client success stories through our services, and best practices on managing international teams. Congrats, Dan!
We’d also like to congratulate Brendan Cunningham, ASW Consulting’s Regional Business Development Director, for being elected as a Board Member for The Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham Thailand) for 2025-26. His experience is a valuable asset in helping fellow community members access more business and networking opportunities.
As our partnerships continue to grow, we have opened numerous roles across our offices in the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand. We’re always on the lookout for exceptional talent. Through our Employee Referral Program, we’ve been receiving excellent recommendations from our staff and have successfully hired high-performing professionals to join our new and current international teams. We’re excited to see them deliver outstanding work to our clients and achieve great strides in their careers at ASW.
THE ASW 10-YEAR CLUB
We recently launched the ASW 10-Year Club to honour our employees who have reached this milestone in their careers at ASW. We now have close to 100 ASW team members who have been with us for 10 years or more—a clear reflection of the dedication, professionalism, and career-focused attitude of our people. We will hold a gala dinner this June to recognise and celebrate these valued members of the ASW Family. These individuals have made remarkable contributions over the past decade not only to ASW but also to their teammates and teams in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA.
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
We take great pride in seeing participants of ASW’s Leadership Development Program put their learning into action. Led by Sarah Lourie, our Director of Talent, the program equips them with essential leadership skills to drive growth and success. These current and emerging leaders are now sharing their insights and demonstrating their facilitation expertise, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
