1. Hi! Please introduce yourselves and your role in ASW.
Cedrick: I’ve been in ASW since July 2024 as Data Processing Assistant for Abbott Insurance. We process data transferring from the old system into the new system. I enjoy singing and watching movies. I got married just before joining ASW. As I’m starting to build my own family, I’m also pursuing my future career here at ASW.
Flerida: I’m happily married with two lovely daughters. I was a Content Editor in my previous company, focusing on Legal Content Management. Data Processing Assistant is my position here in ASW, supporting Abbott Insurance to migrate from core business application to another. Having high attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy is my everyday goal.
Hercy: I’m currently in Abbott Insurance team as a Data Processing Assistant. My role is to support Abbott Insurance Brokers to transfer Policy Risk Information to the new system application. I make sure I accurately capture every detail that is provided, scrutinizing and double checking the data to avoid mistakes.
Leo: I work as Business Process Support under Abbott Insurance Group. My role is to process all Abbott insurers records under client’s CRM and maintain the quality and accuracy of it according to Abbott’s standards.
2. How does your team stay motivated?
Flerida: Being part of the wonderful Business Support Team and having very appreciative and supportive managers are some of the reasons that keep us motivated to do great at work. We enjoy working and helping one another to provide quality performance.
Hercy: We are lucky to be part of this team because they have given us their full support from day one. They keep us posted if there are changes in processing. We’ve felt very welcome, and they’ve treated us kindly.
Leo: I believe our team stays motivated whenever we hit our goals on time and receive great feedback from our clients. It gives us more confidence in what we do.
3. What challenges do you encounter as a team and how do you resolve them?
Cedrick: Since we’re a new team, challenges are expected like adjusting to the new environment, workplace, getting used to different working times, getting to know each other in the team. Thankfully, my teammates are easy to get along with. We just enjoy each other’s company. I think that’s how we resolve our differences. Even if we have concerns regarding the system functions, the manager and members of Abbott Insurance are one chat away and they will teach us to resolve it or resolve it for us.
Flerida: Even if we are far from our managers, the communication between us is great. As a team, we communicate with one another and ask questions immediately to solve any issues and concerns.
4. Can you share a recent success story or achievement from your team?
Cedrick: At this moment since I started working here, I can say that we managed to learn the given book manual within a short period of time. We managed to finish within two months the spreadsheet given to us by the client, and we’re about to finish the third. They are proud of our working progress and that was a great success for us.
Leo: Most importantly, they trusted us for this role because they believe in our skills and talent.
Hercy: Since I’m new in this team, I think my achievement is the continuous learning of new things that can help me professionally.
5. Would you like to share any advice/inspirational words with your fellow ASW colleagues?
Cedrick: Love and treat the job as a member of the family so that every single day, we get up excited to do the task. Making mistakes is a natural part of working so don’t feel down and afraid. Recover from mistakes and improve the quality of work. Communicate as much as possible to the client to strengthen the bond. Don’t get bored, because when boredom strikes everything follows. Stay motivated!
Flerida: Let’s do our best to provide quality performance as always, love our work, and find happiness in doing it. Even if there are struggles, hardships, or changes in our role, just stay focused and never give up. Believe in yourself and never stop learning.
Hercy: Be appreciative, even over small things that you’re receiving, because not all can get what you have. Stay motivated and always be a positive thinker.
Leo: Just continue to strive on any work that you do and always give it your best shot!
